Design an Industry Based Curriculum for Education and Research | Author : M.Manivannan, Dr.G.Suseendran | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :In this paper, the curriculum are more responsible to industry needs and provide the
students with skills for employment and positive work values needed to meet the demands of
the changing industry and global environment. The existing methodology is based on basics
and current trends of the domain these curriculums developed only theoretical knowledge
they won’t get any industrial based exposure to overcomethis issue, the proposed
methodology is based on education and innovative in the industry, current trends in the job
market are also considered while developing the syllabus. The paper submits recommendation
on further enhanced strategies that will help in the development of education in line with
modern trends in curriculum issues.

| Photoluminescence studies of Na2Gd(PO4)2:Sm3+ Nano Phosphors for SSL Applications` | Author : T. Chengaiaha, K. Kiran Kumara , B.C. Jamalaiahb , L. Rama Moorthy | Abstract | Full Text | Abstract :Trivalent samarium (Sm3+) doped Na3Gd(PO4)2 (NGP) phosphors were prepared by citrate gel
combustion process. The structure, optical and energy transfer studies were systematically
characterized through photoluminescence (PL), X- ray diffraction, and decay measurements,
respectively. Upon 406 nm excitation Sm3+ doped NGP phosphors emit orange-red luminescence with
peak maximum at 602 nm. Sm3+ ions were located at the inversion symmetry sites of NGP lattice.
The Commission International de I’Eclairage chromaticity coordinates were calculated from the
photoluminescence spectra. The NGP: Sm3+ phosphors can be used as a promising material for solid
state lighting devices |
